Window cleaning
Window cleaning
We clean windows with a pure water reach-and-wash system across Leeds, Harrogate, York and the towns between — frames, sills and door glass included on every visit. Tell us about your home in the quote form and Dawid confirms your exact price within 24 hours.
How pure water reach-and-wash works
The water is purified on the van before it ever reaches your windows — run through resin and carbon filters until every mineral is stripped out. Nothing’s added to it: no detergent, no soap, no chemical of any kind. Pure water is naturally “thirsty”, so when it’s pushed through a pole-fed brush onto the glass it lifts dirt on contact rather than smearing it around.
Because there’s no soap left behind, there’s nothing for streaks or residue to cling to as it dries. The window air-dries spotless with no chamois, no squeegee marks, and no rainbow film building up over successive cleans the way traditional soap-and-squeegee work sometimes leaves.
What’s included
Frames, sills and door glass are cleaned as standard on every visit — not an add-on, not something we charge extra for once we’re already up there. A window clean that skips the frame just moves the grime six inches and calls it done; we don’t do that.
35 ft reach — third-storey windows and dormers, no ladders
Our poles reach up to 35 ft, which covers third-storey windows and dormer glazing on the vast majority of homes we visit without a ladder ever leaving the van. That matters for more than convenience. A ladder puts feet in flowerbeds and on paving that shifts, and it often has to lean against guttering that was never designed to take the weight. Working from the ground removes both problems at once.
Rounds and one-off visits
Most customers settle into a 4-weekly or 8-weekly round. Glass stays cleaner for longer on the shorter cycle, especially near busy roads or under trees; the 8-weekly round suits homes that are more sheltered. One-off cleans are just as welcome — before a house sale, at the end of a tenancy, or simply to see how we work before committing to anything regular.
What happens on a visit
We work the property from one side to the other, poles set up outside, glass and frames done in a steady pass rather than a rush. If a gate’s locked or a dog needs to come in first, that’s exactly why we text the night before — so nothing holds the round up on the day.
First-clean honesty
If a frame or sill hasn’t been properly cleaned in a while, the first visit can bring years of built-up grime to the surface — sometimes leaving a faint “weep” mark on the sill as it lifts. We’d rather tell you that upfront than have you wonder if something’s gone wrong. It’s the first clean doing its job; by the second visit, with nothing left to shift, it comes up properly bright.
